E-mail Server panel

The panel is used for configuring the e-mail server. See the panel.

The options available in this panel are as follows:

SMTP Server

Specifies the numeric or named host of the machine where the e-mail server is located.

SMTP Server Port

Specifies the port where the e-mail server runs.

Server Requires Authentication

This option must be checked if an SMTP server requires authentication.

Server Requires a Secure Connection (SSL)

This option must be checked if an SMTP server requires a secure connection (SSL).

E-mail Address

Specifies the address of the e-mail sender. You must specify an address and make sure that the format of the specified address is valid.

Encoding

Specifies the encoding for the titles and comments of notification e-mails.

SMTP Login Account

The following options are available when the option Server Requires Authentication is checked.

• User Name
  Specifies the user name for logging in the SMTP server.
• Password
  Specifies the password for logging in the SMTP server.

Save

Saves the settings which take effect immediately.
