You can use a disk (disk array) on a computer that does not perform a role in a cluster as a shared disk. All the temporary files and result files will be stored in this disk and they can be accessed from the servers in the cluster. This can improve performance when running report sets.

Here are the resources that can be stored on a shared disk:

• Temp Directory
  When viewing report sets from any server in a JReport Enterprise Server cluster, some temporary files will be generated. All temporary files are saved in the temp directory.
• History Directory
  When publishing report sets to the versioning system from any server in a JReport Enterprise Server cluster, all the result files are saved in the history directory.
